PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such as a poor outer appearance due to the transition of the ink stuck to the tip of a ball point pen to the inner surface of the axis main body of a writing body through the contact of the tip of the writing body with the inner surface of the barrel main body of the writing body at its retracting and extending action, especially the very foul barrel body of a multiple lead writing utensil due to the transition of the inks having a plurality of colors and their mixing together. SOLUTION: In the multiple lead writing utensil, within the barrel main body of which a plurality of writing bodies energized backwards with elastic repulsive members are provided so as to engage a slider mounted at the rear end of each writing body with a barrel main body through the advancement of the slider in order to project the writing body beyond the barrel main body, the inner surface of the forward part of the barrel main body is made conical and, at the same time, the inclination angle of the conical part is made smaller than the inclination angle of a line connecting the tip of the writing body with the diametral portion of the writing body.
