PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygienic dishwasher or the like having a compact electrolytic cell having a simple structure. SOLUTION: The dishwasher or the like is provided with a washing cell for storing tableware, a washing water storing part for storing the washing water externally supplied, which is arranged under the washing cell, and a washing pump for spouting the washing water stored in the washing water storing part from a nozzle arranged in the washing cell. Washing operation is performed by circulating the washing water. An electrolysis means having at least a pair of electrodes is provided in a circulation passage connecting the washing pump and the nozzle. The washing water sent out from the washing pump diverges into water passing through the pair of electrodes and the rest of the water, and in this state it is electrolyzed and then mixed for spouting from the nozzle.
