FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing a catalyst. Method includes: (a) adding an iridium precursor and a palladium precursor into water, containing at least one element selected from a group consisting of polyvinyl pyrrolidone, N-methylpyrrolidone, N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone, and ethylene glycol; (b) adding a reducing agent to obtained catalytic metal colloid; (c) obtaining a concentrated solution containing metal particles of catalyst, by exposing obtained solution to heated back flow; and (d) fixing metal particles of catalyst on support. Iridium content in metal particles of catalyst ranges from 3 % to 10 % by weight of total weight of iridium and palladium. Also disclosed is a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gases.EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gases, having high resistance to heating and efficiency of cleaning in a wide range of gas mixtures.3 cl, 11 dwg, 6 ex |
