A wireless communication system, method and apparatus are disclosed. This system includes one or more apparatus for communicating with one or more base stations and one or more mobile. The apparatus has both a base station portion and a mobile station portion. The base station portion is adapted to communicate with one or more mobile stations and/or with one or more other mobile station portions while the mobile station portion is adapted to communicate with one or more other base stations and or one or more other base station portions.
