PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem wherein, in the inventory control of a stationary vending machine, stocks have run out earlier than estimation to cause a delay in sales. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine detects its own remaining amount of stocks, and if the remaining amount has been reduced, it is notified to a management company through a telephone line. The terminal of the management company side requests a retail store for supplement of commodities through a network connected for 24 hours. The requested retail store goes to an appropriate automatic vending machine to supplement the commodities and moneys, and then notifies the management company of the termination of the replenishment. The management company pays a predetermined remuneration for the proxy supplement, and collects prices and maintenance charges of the supplemented commodities from an owner of the automatic vending machine. |
