PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor that can enhance the security performance even by avoiding data processing of digital data such as image data from being complicated. SOLUTION: An area separation section 9 separates input image data into a plurality of areas including a character area, a dot area and a photographing area. A data processing section 10 attaches an area identification signal being a result of the area separation to the input image data as a code in response to attribute data of the image data. Thus, so long as the attached code is not eliminated in decoding image data, the image data cannot properly be decoded.
