PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inspection apparatus which can inspect surely an illegal exchange of a ROM in which a game program is stored. SOLUTION: This inspection apparatus 2000 comprises a ROM code reading means 201 which reads out the ROM code written in a ROM 251 mounted on a main control board, a main-body-code reading means 202 which read out a recognition code 124 for a slot certificate stamp displayed on a slot machine body, a code comparison means 205 which compares the combination of the ROM 251 specified by the read ROM code and the machine body specified by the slot certificate stamp code with the pre-recorded legal combination, and comparison-result reporting means 206 which displays the comparison result of the code comparison means 205.
