PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SAR inspection terminal and method capable of quickly judging whether an electromagnetic wave radiated from a portable terminal or the like is fitted for SAR standards or not. SOLUTION: The SAR inspection device has an electric field probe 9 and a device body 14 for displaying an electric field intensity measured value obtained by measuring an electric field detected by the probe 9 or an SAR value corresponding to the measured value. The tip part 15 of the probe 9 is covered with a container 16 and a space between the tip part 15 and the container 16 is filled with a false living body 8. The inspection surface of a portable terminal 4 is arranged so as to be met almost at right angles with the probe 9 and the tip part 15 and the inspection surface are slid each other or adjacently moved to read the electric field intensity measured value or the SAR value corresponding to the measured value from the device body 14.
