PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration generator which efficiently causes vibration in a limited vibration space. SOLUTION: The vibration generator 1 is provided with a magnet 4, a yoke 3, a vibration body 11 which has a magnetic circuit 6 including a pole piece 5 and a weight 8 fixed to the outer periphery of the magnetic circuit 6, a drive coil 7 disposed and fixed to a magnetic pole space G surrounded by the yoke 3 and the pole piece 5 of the magnetic circuit 6 possessed by the vibration body 11, a casing 2 which houses the vibration body 11 and a drive coil 7, and a spring 9 which supports the vibration body 11 while enabling the reciprocation and rectilinear vibration of the body 11 within the casing 2. The thickness of the vibration body 11 in a vibration direction is 35 to 65% of the length in the vibration direction of the vibration space in the casing 2 where the vibration body 11 vibrates.
