PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion valve exhibiting excellent assembling performance. SOLUTION: The lower housing 12 at the temperature-sensitive part and the body 13 at the valve part are formed integrally of a cut workpiece and joined to the upper housing 11 at the temperature-sensitive part by welding. Since the body 13 has such an external shape as the diameter is reduced stepwise in the direction receding from the temperature-sensitive part, it can be fixed by simply mounting it on a valve case formed while copying it and assembling performance can be enhanced under a state where O rings 30, 31 and 32 are fixed. |
