PURPOSE: A method for inputting Korean character in a cellular phone is provided to evenly arrange consonants and vowels on entire buttons of a terminal keyboard, in order to increase the number of substantially arranged characters, thereby reducing the number of pressing times of buttons for inputting Korean character. CONSTITUTION: Consonants and vowels of Korean character are arranged on number buttons such as 1-9 and 0. A keyboard arranges consonant input mode setup buttons as basic consonant and double consonant designating buttons. The vowels of Korean character are inputted by inputting corresponding buttons one time. The consonants of Korean character are inputted by the consonant input mode setup button or corresponding consonant buttons.
