PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting treatment equipment of burned ash and a method for melting treatment capable of being applied to small-scale equipment to large-scale equipment, recovering the molten material of the burned ash in a lump state, and minimizing the volume. SOLUTION: The melting treatment equipment of the burned ash provided with a burner 4 for melting the burned ash 11 into the molten material by blowing the burned ash 11 together with a gas containing oxygen into a burning flame whose fuel is a gas containing a hydrocarbon-based gas and oxygen, and a refractory wall 5 confronting the ejecting port of the burner 4 and laminating the molten material, instantly melts the burned ash 11 in a powdered state, minimizes the volume, forms in a lump state, and removes harmful materials or encloses them in a solid matter at the same time.
