PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device wherein a color filter in the liquid crystal display device is formed without increasing processes compared with a color filter in a conventional liquid crystal display device and bright color display high in color purity is realized even when deviation in sticking of a pixel electrode area and a color filter area occurs, with respect to the formation of the color filter in a transflective liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device wherein a reflection electrode and a color filter are formed on one and the other substrates, respectively, of a pair of substrates stuck opposite to each other sandwiching a liquid crystal layer, the color filter is formed so that the surface area of the region where no color filter is formed is fixed, even when the deviation in sticking of the pixel area and the color filter forming area occurs. |
