<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating excreta of domestic animals to obtain an organic fertilizer capable of decreasing coli and BOD by >=75 to 90%, in two to several weeks without producing malodor even if getting wet. SOLUTION: The method of treating the excreta of the domestic animals comprises a treated bacteria mixing step of mixing a prescribed amount of treated bacteria obtained by arbitrarily combining the kinds and amounts of Bacillus subtilis being nonpathogenic, innoxious bacteria terrestrial fungi, pseudomonads and their denatured bacteria according to the contained components of the protein, starch, oils and fats, in the excreta of the domestic animals, and a fermentation step of drying the excreta of the domestic animals mixed with the treated bacteria while agitating and transporting the mixture at every other one day to several days, then subjecting the mixture to dissolving, decomposing, purifying and digesting of the excreta and fermenting of physiologically active materials, thereby producing the organic fertilizer.</p> |
