PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system to totally support a series of order/receiving operations from order of books in library to offer to users corresponding to operation forms of library. SOLUTION: A server apparatus 11 is connected with NACSIS-CAT 21 via a network 30. In addition, the server apparatus 11 can access a catalog DB 13 and a purchase request DB 12a, and are connected with a librarian client apparatus 14 and a user client apparatus 15 through LAN or other networks. The server apparatus 11 registers a purchase request from a user with the purchase request DB 12a. If a librarian can specify in advance the catalog information of a book to be ordered based on the registered purchase request, bibliography data of the book to be ordered is searched from NACSIS-CAT 21, and the searched bibliography is down-loaded to register with the catalog DB 13. At the same time, order data related to the bibliography data is registered with the catalog DB 13, and a librarian orders the book based on order information, which consists of the registered bibliography data and the order data. |
