<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera having merits that an image is displayed erected and easily observed even when a camera body is set vertically on a stand. SOLUTION: The electronic camera 10 mounted on a chargeable camera stand 30 in posture different from that for use is provided with a camera body 11, a display means (LCD display part 22) formed on the body 11 and capable of displaying an image based on picture data, a detection means (stand installation detection circuit 60) for detecting mounting of the body 11 on the stand 30, and an image direction changing means (a CPU 54 and an LCD driver 55) for changing the orientation of the image displayed on the display means 22 when the detection means 60 detects the body 11 is mounted on the stand 30.</p> |
