PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for moxibustion which is makes the heating power and service time of a charcoal material for moxibustion easily regulatable and is user friendly. SOLUTION: This container 1 for moxibustion consists of porcelain and is formed to a cylindrical shape opened 2a at its upper part 2. An outside surface 3a of its bottom 3 is provided with thermally insulating projections 4 to prevent the direct contact of the charcoal material for moxibustion with a lesion. An inside surface 3b of the bottom 3 is provided with a plurality of combustion projections to prevent the direct contact of the charcoal material for moxibustion with the inside surface of the bottom. Further, a plurality of air holes 6a for introducing air for accelerating combustion are opened at side walls 6a. Accordingly, the container for moxibustion of the specific shape is constituted and therefore its handling is easy and moxibustion can be easily and surely carried out. Anyone can easily use the container and effect of providing the user friendly moxibustion is obtained by synergistic effects of above- mentioned points.
