<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin which can obtain a bottle having excellent transparency, strength, resistance to the deterioration in the flavor of the content beverage or the like, and environmental stress crack resistance, and an injection blow molded bottle composed thereof. SOLUTION: The polyester resin has an ethylene terephthalate unit as the main constituting repeating unit, and meets the properties such that (1) the temperature-up crystallization point is >=155 deg.C and the temperature-down crystallization point is <=180 deg.C or is not observed after formed into a molded product; (2) the difference in the acetaldehyde content (ppm) in a molded product after injection molding at 280 deg.C and that (ppm) before the injection molding is <=15 ppm; (3) the environmental stress rupture time, measured by dipping a 1 mm- thick injection molded plate in a state fixed along on the outer periphery of a cylinder of 32 mm in diameter in a 0.2 wt.% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution at 25 deg.C is >=10 minutes. The injection blow molded bottle is composed of the polyester resin.</p> |
