<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope as a microscope device which can easily and accurately obtain optimum images of various observed objects in a wide range. SOLUTION: The microscope has an illumination means which irradiates an examined body with the light from a light source to generate luminous flux including information on the examined body, an illumination light modulating means which modulates one of the wavelength, phase, intensity, polarization, and coherency of the light irradiating the examined body, an objective and an imaging lens which converge the luminous flux including the information on the examined body to form an image of the examined body, a pupil modulating means which is provided nearby the pupil surface of the objective to modulate one of the phase, intensity, and polarizing direction of the luminous flux including the information on the examined body, an imaging means which is provided on the plane where the image of the examined body is formed, an image display means which displays the image of the examined body picked up by the imaging means, an image analyzing means which analyzes the picked-up image of the examined body, and a parameter determining means which adjusts the modulation quantities of the illumination light modulating means and pupil modulating means by using the analyzed image information of the examined body.</p> |
