PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to recognize easily the key on which the player is going to press subsequently irrespective of the position of the hand which is operating the key being pressed now when a performance training apparatus guides the key to be pressed. SOLUTION: When an LED group 8 of a keyboard 7 is made to emit light according to the musical data read from a piece of music ROM 6 to guide the performance, a CPU 1 calculates the range of the width of the hand on the basis of the key which is being currently pressed and the finger of the hand which operates the key, and discriminates whether or not the LEDA of the key which is to be pressed subsequently is present within the calculated range. When the LEDA is not present within the range, the CPU 1 makes the LEDA emit light, and when the LEDA of the key to be pressed subsequently is present within the range, the CPU 1 makes an LEDB provided in the same key emit light instead of the LEDA. |
