PURPOSE: A method for billing a pay wireless Internet service is provided to receive a connection authentication number of a corresponding server from a base station through a short message, before using pay contents in a mobile communication terminal equipped with a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) browser, so as to reduce authentication errors caused when furnishing a wireless Internet service. CONSTITUTION: If a terminal transmits a connection request signal for predetermined pay contents to a WAP gateway, the WAP gateway requests a short message to an SMS(Short Message Service) center(SP1,SP2). The SMS center requests an authentication key generating server to generate an authentication key(SP3). The authentication key generating server generates the authentication key and transmits the authentication key to the SMS center, and the SMS center transmits a short message including the authentication key to the terminal and a pay contents server(SP4,SP5). The terminal transmits a connection request signal including the authentication key to the pay contents server through the WAP gateway(SP6,SP7). And the pay contents server compares a pre-stored internal authentication key with the authentication key of the WAP gateway, if the keys are coincident with each other, to provide a service(SP8). |
