CORE MATERIAL FOR PANEL, AND DOOR PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core material for a panel, and a door panel, which enable lamination of a surface sheet and a rear sheet on the opposite sides by a hot press and which are excellent in surface smoothness and in strength even when the surface and rear sheets constituted of a thin metal sheet are used. SOLUTION: The core material for the panel has a constitution wherein a paper board having a basic weight of 400-500 g/m<2> is laminated by an adhesive on the opposite sides of a paper honeycomb having a ligneous material disposed on the opposite sides or end edge part thereof and a thermally adhesive resin layer having a melting point (DSC) of 74-95 deg.C is laminated on the outer surfaces of the paper boards, and it is lightweight and excellent in strength. The door panel has a constitution wherein the surface sheet and the rear sheet constituted of metal sheets being 0.25-0.50 mm thick are stuck by the hot press to the opposite sides of the core material for the panel and fixed by fitting them to the material at the peripheral edge part thereof, and it is excellent in surface smoothness, a bending strength and a torsion strength and is light in weight.
