PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve yield and durability of a nozzle for pouring molten metal, such as an upper nozzle, an intermediate nozzle and a lower nozzle for a sliding nozzle, used when the molten metal is poured from a molten metal vessel, such as a ladle, and a tundish. SOLUTION: A nozzle body 11 of the nozzle 10 for pouring the molten metal is formed as a straight cylindrical shape having the outer diameter for being fitted to the lower part of a metal case 12 and also, monolithic refractory 14 is filled in a spacing part 13 between the upper side of this straight cylindrical nozzle body 11 and the metal case 12 fitted to the outer side thereof. The dislocation of the metal case 12 caused by fastening to the metal case 12 received when the nozzle is fixed in use, can be restrained by shrinkage-fitting an iron hoop 17 projecting locking rods 16 sideways in an axially symmetrical manner to the outer peripheral part at the upper side of the nozzle body 11 and embedding the iron hoop 17 and these locking rods 16 into the monolithic refractory 14 or by extending the lower part of the metal case 12 and bending the extending lower end part to the lower end surface side of the nozzle body 11 to restrain it to the lower end surface of the nozzle body 11.
