PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for charging of a workpiece into a die which requires no enlarged draft working of a base or the die, reduces the working man-hour of the die, and causes no disadvantage in the phase of a layout. SOLUTION: The detector for charging of the workpiece into the die is fixed to part of the die to work a panel for an automobile, etc., and detects the presence or absence of a workpiece charged into the die by using an electrical and mechanical means. In the detection, a detection body 14 which is brought into contact with the workpiece charged into the die and is moved is oscillatably supported by parallel links.
