PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe cleaning system which is low-cost and, moreover, easily allows the recovery to initial flow rate of waste water within several ten seconds. SOLUTION: In this pipe cleaning system, a wire 2 is inserted into a pipe on the laying works of pipe 1 for waste water and is continuingly laid, at a fixed period or when the flow rate of waste water starts to decrease, the wire is subjected to twist rotation by a motor 3 or by manual operation, therefrom, a helical rotation movement caused by the wire is generated in the pipe and, as a result, the fouling stuck to the inner wall of pipe is scraped out.
