COATING-SUPPLY ROLLER AND COATING-SUPPLY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a coating evenly and positively in the axial direction of a coating roller, irrespective of a coating posture of the roller. SOLUTION: A coating is supplied to the peripheral surface of a coating roller by pressing a coating-supply roller 40A to the coating roller, and rotating the coating roller. The coating-supply roller 40A has a roller body 41 and a coating-impregnated layer 43 provided on the axially outside of the roller. A plurality of coating-supply chambers 46 and coating ducts 401-410 are provided in the roller body 41. The chambers 46 are separated from each other, and arranged axially intermittently in the inside of the coating-impregnated layer. Each of coating ducts 401-410 is connected to each chamber 46 independently in the axial direction of the roller body 41. The coating is uniformly distributed to each chamber 46 through the coating ducts 401-410 and supplied to the coating-impregnated layer.
