PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sense of incompatibility to be applied to a user by implementing reservation when reserved programs are overlapped. SOLUTION: The reservation information of a program is produced by a reservation setting means 110 and stored in a reservation information storage means 120. A reservation implementation control means 150 corrects the recording starting time and the recording ending time of the reserved program in correspondence with program information acquired by a program information acquiring means 140, monitors the recording starting time and the recording ending time on the basis of a present time counted by a clock means 130 and controls the recording start and the recording end of a VCR 200. When the recording time slots of a plurality of reserved programs are partially overlapped, these overlapped time slots are divided at an arbitrary time point and such a division is used as the time to end recording the preceding program of the earlier starting time in the overlapped reserved programs and used as the time to start recording the following program of the later starting time.
