TREATMENT METHOD OF COLLECTED DUST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive treatment method which securely dissolves collected dust in a melting furnace. SOLUTION: The collected dust such as electric furnace dust is admixed with iron powder and ferrosilicon as melting auxiliaries and, then, is kneaded with a proper quantity of a binder. The kneaded mixture 3 is filled into a container 1 and, thereafter, is pressed by a press machine 5 and the opening part of the container 1 is sealed. The dust charged container 7 is charged into the electric furnace and the collected dust is melted.
