<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit that can obtain an optimum machine displacement response without depending on the phase transmission characteristics of the machine resonance characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A drive circuit 14 is provided with a first drive circuit 151 that generates a first drive signal having a prescribed frequency, and a second drive circuit 152 that generates a second drive signal having a prescribed frequency differing from the first drive signal.
