<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local oscillation circuit, a radio communication equipment, and a power control method whereby the power consumption of the radio communication equipment can e cut down in its waiting state. <P>SOLUTION: After amplifying by a power amplifier 4 the local oscillation signal oscillated trough a PLL circuit 2 ad a VCO 3, the local oscillation signal is so outputted to a branching circuit 5 as to be destined for a receiving circuit or a transmitting circuit in response to the state of a mobile telephone. In the waiting state of the mobile telephone, a state discrimination circuit 6 so decides that the mobile telephone is waiting as to output to a power-supply controlling circuit 7 and a signal changing circuit 8 the discriminated result of the effect that the mobile telephone is waiting. When receiving the discriminated result, the power-supply controlling circuit 7 stops its power feeding from a power supply to the power amplifier 4. When receiving the identifying result, the signal changing circuit 8 changes the outputting destination of the local oscillation signal from the power amplifier 4 to the receiving circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
