SWARF REMOVAL APPARATUS OF STEEL PLATE DEGREASING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing swarf of steel plate degreasing equipment is provided to improve degreasing efficiency by removing swarf and other foreign materials on the surface of a strip before inputting the strip into the degreasing equipment. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing swarf of steel plate degreasing equipment includes a swarf removal unit(10) contacting the surface of a strip(2) and pushing the foreign materials of the surface of the strip to both edges, to remove the foreign materials; a polishing oil recovery unit(50) separating grinding oil from the swarf and other foreign materials removed from the strip; and a roll frame moving unit(60) moving a roll frame(15) with the swarf removal unit in the crosswise direction of the strip. The swarf removal unit comprises a brush roll(11) having a groove(11a) slant toward the edges and contacting with the upper surface of the strip; a wiper(12) installed in the axial direction of the brush roll; a lower roll(13) installed to contact with the lower surface of the strip; and an air pipe(14) installed in the axial direction of the lower roll, to inject air to the strip. The grinding oil recovery unit comprises a filter receiving the grinding oil including swarf and other foreign materials and selectively transmitting only grinding oil; an oil line(52) discharging grinding oil; an auger screw rotating by drive of a second motor(53) and collecting swarf and other foreign materials to one place; and a drain line(56) discharging swarf and other foreign material to a collection tank(55). The roll frame moving unit includes a base frame(61) installed to the lower part of the roll frame; plural wheels supporting the roll frame; a fourth cylinder(63) moving the roll frame; and a guide unit(64) guiding movement of the roll frame.
