<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for assembling an optical product and a holding member for holding the optical product. <P>SOLUTION: After setting up an interval between the end face 52B of a 1st mount 52 on which an LD element 50 is mounted and the tip face 56B of a 2nd mount 56 on which a waveguide member 54 is mounted to 20μm, glass fiber to which an adhesive 62 is applied is brought into contact with the ridgeline of the end face 52B and the tip face 56B and moved back and forth in the axial direction of the glass fiber 74, so that the adhesive 62 can be transferred from the glass fiber 74 to the ridgeline of the end face 52B and tip face 56B and the adhesive 62 can be surely penetrated into a gap between the end face 52B and the tip face 56B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
