<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber web product which has performance, such as strength, water absorption characteristics, and water retention characteristics, sufficient for practicable use, stably realizes the balanced tactile impression and touch to the skin, such as mellifluence, suppleness and lightness, is excellent in the low acridity to the skin and an effect of protecting and moisture insulating the skin, is free of a sticky feel and oily feel, and is adequately used for hygiene and a method of manufacturing the fiber web product. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber web product is formed by incorporating a hydrous gel composition into a fiber web, in which the hydrous gel composition contains a humectant component, a gelatinizing agent and water and the water is at least either of the water held by the moisture retaining component or the water absorbed from the atmospheric air. The form that the hydrous gel composition is a foamed gel composition exhibiting a gel form at ordinary temperature and having a fine porous structure therein is preferable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
