<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip for a scaler dispensing with tip replacement work and allowing a file to be fitted at a plurality of angles with one tip. <P>SOLUTION: This tip 1 for the scaler is detachably connected to the tip part of a hand piece body 10 so that ultrasonic vibration from the hand piece body is transmitted to the tip 1. The tip 1 is a bar body of linear shape, and has a threaded hole 1b orthogonal to the bar body, and two or more file insert- through holes 1<SB>1</SB>-1<SB>3</SB>provided piercing the bar body, intersecting the center part of the threaded hole 1b. The file 4 is inserted through one optional desired hole out of two or more file insert-through holes, and the inserted file is fixed by a locking screw 2 screwed with the threaded hole 1b. The holes for the file are composed of at least two holes out of the hole 1<SB>1</SB>orthogonal to the bar body 1, the hole 1<SB>2</SB>inclined frontward, and the hole 1<SB>3</SB>inclined backward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
