PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone separator which is made compact and lightweight, in which the pressure loss of a gas is made small and the suction power of which is made large. SOLUTION: This cyclone separator is provided with a suction pipe 1 for sucking the gas containing dust, a cyclone body 2 divided into a whirl part 2a where the gas whirls along the inside wall and an accumulation part 2b where dust is separated from the gas and accumulated by a partition member 6 disposed to keep a constant gap between the member 6 and the inside wall, and a discharge port 3 for discharging the gas. An inclined surface 22 is formed on the inside of the top surface of the part 2a for making the gas whirl and descend. The surface 22 can be made spiral or an angle of inclination of the surface 22 can be within 4-8°when the pressure loss of the gas is made smaller and the suction power is made larger.
