<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the resources necessary for the operation on a structured document and to realize both of the reduction of the use of a memory and the increase of a processing speed in processing the structured document. <P>SOLUTION: An element forming the structured document as an object of conversion is divided into a key element and a non-key element, a new element provided with a predetermined tag name and a predetermined attribute name is created, a tag name letter string including the tag name of the non-key element is created, the tag name is converted to describe the tag name letter string as an attribute value corresponding to the predetermined attribute name in the new element, a contents letter string including the contents of the non-key element is created, the contents are converted to describe the contents letter string as the contents of the new element, and the key element is described as it is in the structured document after the conversion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
