The present invention provides an optical isomer including: a polymer obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable liquid crystal composition; and a polymethyl methacrylate resin substrate or polycarbonate resin substrate, wherein the polymerizable liquid crystal composition has at least one polymerizable functional group and contains 85 mass% or more of one or two or more liquid crystal compounds satisfying 0.22<S<0.6, where S is a molecular structure parameter represented by S=LR/(LR+LM). The present invention also provides a polymerizable liquid crystal composition to be used in the optical isomer. Thus, the present invention provides: an optical isomer which exhibits excellent orientation, has less haze and excellent transparency, and retains adhesiveness when the optical isomer is used on the polymethyl methacrylate resin substrate or polycarbonate resin substrate; and a polymerizable liquid crystal composition for the optical isomer. |
