摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To totally and efficiently operate an automated storage and retrieval warehouse and a carrier system in consideration of not only the automated storage and retrieval warehouse but also the carrier system to deposit and deliver an article in and out of the automated storage and retrieval warehouse. <P>SOLUTION: It is possible to set using time of a crane 15 to move the other article even when priority is lower if only there is time of vacancy before this using time, since the using time is set prior to time of a carrier car arriving at a delivery gate 11 or 13 even though the respective using time of the crane 15 to move each of the articles is orderly set in accordance with the delivery priority of each of the articles. Consequently, it is possible to efficiently use each of the delivery gates 11, 13, the crane 15 and each of the carrier cars 21, 22, 31, 32, and to speedily carry out movement of the article lower in priority without delaying movement of the article higher in priority. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
