PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for ejecting a fluid to a receiving medium. SOLUTION: In the method, each swath and at least one other swath overlap each other, whereby an overlapping region is formed to these swaths. The fluid is ejected into a plurality of swaths, and fluid ejection data to pixels in the overlapping region is changed for swaths which define the overlapping region. Based on a pixel position in the overlapping region and at least one of control values made corresponding to pixels, a quantity of the fluid to be ejected for each pixel in the overlapping region is reduced for at least one of the overlapping swaths.
