REFERENCE CURRENT GENERATING CIRCUIT OF ORGANIC EL (ELECTROLUMINESCENCE) DRIVING CIRCUIT AND ORGANIC EL (ELECTROLUMINESCENCE) DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reference current generating circuit of an EL driving circuit capable of reducing luminance change or color change caused by difference of temperature characteristics of light emitting materials of an organic EL panel and an organic EL display device using the same.

SOLUTION: This reference current generating circuit is provided with a temperature-sensitive element, a voltage generating circuit whose output voltage is changed in accordance with a signal from the temperature-sensitive element and a constant current circuit which receives an output voltage from the voltage generating circuit and generates a constant current equivalent to a reference current in accordance with the received voltage and the temperature characteristic of the output voltage cancels substantially the temperature characteristic in the light emitting characteristic of the organic EL display panel.
