MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR LEAD ACCUMULATOR PROVIDED WITH FASTON TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lead accumulator with Faston terminals capable of solving disadvantages that, a primer treatment to increase bonding strength of walls is found failed in a battery case embedded with a bonding agent in a recess between the wall and its back side by melting down or coming off a primer painting painted in advance, and that sealability is greatly damaged between the battery case and its lid due to incomplete performance described above.

SOLUTION: When carrying out the welding of the top end plate 6c of the Faston terminal 6 to the end group 4a of the plate group 4 contained inside a cell chamber 3 positioned on an end of the battery case 1, welding is carried out in a state where the separating distance D between the wall to be welded 1b applied with the primer process P and a vertical plate 6b of the Faston terminal 6 in the battery case 1 are made to be≥0.8 mm.
