FILTER ON SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVES

FIELD: radio electronics. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in manufacture of devices on surface acoustic waves. Filter on surface acoustic waves incorporates piezoelectric acoustic line carrying input and output interdigital converters of surface acoustic waves placed on its working surface. Sound absorbing material is deposited on edges of acoustic line. Element scattering volumetric acoustic waves and coming in the form of closed grooves located under input and output converters of surface acoustic waves and in zone between them is positioned on surface of acoustic line opposite working surface. Surface of grooves has additional layer of fused material with thickness over 50 mcm displaying amorphous and/or polycrystalline structure. Presence of this layer ensures additional attenuation of volumetric acoustic waves. Grooves are formed by machining of surface of acoustic line by laser with wave length lambda = 1,06 mcm as this operation is less labor-consuming and does not damage brittle material of acoustic line. EFFECT: improved scattering of volumetric acoustic waves and facilitated manufacture of such elements. 2 dwg
