PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accidents by informing other vehicles of the width of a handlebar of a bicycle or a motorcycle in the right-to-left direction at night time, and to prolong the service life of a battery. SOLUTION: A light emission device 6 is fitted to a grip end 5a, a pressure detection sensor 15 is turned on when a grip 5 of a handlebar 4 is gripped, and the light emission device 6 is driven only when a day-night detection sensor 14 detects the night. As a result, the width of the handlebar 4 in the right-to-left direction can be well recognized by other vehicles, and accidents can be prevented thereby. In addition, since the light emission device 6 is driven only when the bicycle is traveling at night time, consumption of the battery power caused by forgetting the turn-off of the device can be prevented.
