摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high contrast by reducing a step formed on an alignment film without increasing wiring resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the disclosed liquid crystal display device, a common electrode 9 and a pixel electrode 21 constituting a main part of a unit pixel of the liquid crystal display device both are formed of a single conductive Cr layer of thin film thickness, while the wiring such as common electrode wiring 9A to be connected with the common electrode 9 and the pixel electrode 21 respectively, a data line 22, or the like are formed of the films laminating a 1st thick conductive film of a Cr layer and a 2nd thin conductive film of a Cr layer.
