<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-accurate insulation diagnostic device capable of performing easily noise discrimination without applying signal processing and contributing to simplification of an insulation diagnostic system, by following waveform steepness of a propagation waveform in power equipment. <P>SOLUTION: Assuming that the radius of a metal tank 2 is Ro, and the radius of a center conductor 1 is Ri, and the radius of an internal electrode 6 is r, the radius r of an internal electrode 7 is set so as to satisfy the expression 8.855πr<SP>2</SP>/R<SB>o</SB>-R<SB>i</SB>)≤0.45, in this insulation diagnostic device 18. In addition, measuring equipment 15 connected to the insulation diagnostic device 18 regards as a partial discharge signal if the vibration width of a vibration waveform in an output signal from the measuring equipment 15 or the insulation diagnostic device 18 itself is below 1 ns on the average, and regards as a noise signal in the case over 1 ns on the average. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
