HOUSING TRAY FOR SEPARATING SECTION OF OPTICAL FIBER AND CLOSURE FOR OPTICAL FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing tray for a separating section for an optical fiber having good housing and workability in which an inseparate and left multiple coated optical fiber as well as the specific optical fiber is housed in separating the specified optical fiber from the multiple coated optical fiber; the advance of the separating portion is inhibited; and local bending is prevented, and a closure for an optical cable using the same.

SOLUTION: The housing tray for the separating section of the optical fiber partially removes the jacket of the optical cable 1, draws out a specific coated optical fiber tape 3 housed in a slot rod 2, and separates the specific optical fiber 4 from the coated optical fiber tape 3 for housing in the closure. The grooved main body 11 of the housing tray at its both ends has a plurality of slots 12 for introducing or leading out through a fixing member 13 the coated optical fiber tapes 3, 3'. A space section 14 in the groove is provided with a plurality of guide ribs 15 for individually housing the plurality of coated optical fiber tapes 3, 3' or the separated optical fiber 4.
