<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding method that can expand a variable range of operating lines offering a target nip pressure without limitations in layout. <P>SOLUTION: An angleθformed between a straight line connecting the shaft centers of a reverse driving gear shaft 4a and a reverse shaft 8 and a straight line connecting the shaft centers of the reverse shaft 8 and a feed shaft 6 is expanded to a range of 0 [rad] toπ[rad]. The range of nip pressure PB is thus expanded. The nip pressure PB is formulated by the following equation: PB=ä[K/Cos(θ-π/2)+Tan(θ-π/2)]×TA+P0}/[1-K×k/Cos(θ-π/2)]. A suitable design condition obtained according to the equation enables a design capable of expanding the range of nip pressure limited by a layout of component elements of the sheet feeding method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
