PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress warming up of cold air at a maximum cooling time while thinning an air conditioning case in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle by dividing an air mix member and an air mixing part into two parts. SOLUTION: Air amount ratio of cold air in an upper side cold air passage 15 and warm air in an upper side warm air passage 20 is adjusted by an upper side air mix door 18 to blow out the adjusted air through a face blow-out port 24, and air amount ratio of cold air in a lower side cold air passage 16 to warm air in the upper side warm air passage 20 is adjusted by a lower side air mix door 19 to blow out the adjusted air through a foot blow-out port 30 to reduce thickness of the air conditioning case 11 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. At the maximum cooling time, a communicating port 20a with an upper side air mix chamber 22 in the upper side warm air passage 20 is closed by the upper side air mix door 18 to suppress mixing of warm air in the vicinity of the downstream side of a heater core 13 into the upper side air mix chamber 22 due to natural convection.
