FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed box-car 1 with door apertures contains platform body for freight to be carried pressed by movable wall 13 with sliding arrangement 12 secured on end face wall 11 provided with power load bearing frame from outer side. Sliding arrangement 12 includes articulated four-member mechanism one apex of which is secured on end face wall, and the other, on movable wall. Middle joints are secured on screw axle thread and furnished with seats for turnable handles at ends. Movable wall is furnished with sliding supports at end faces on which beams-limiters of side displacement of movable wall are arranged, beams being secured on fixed end face wall.
