PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter polishing device capable of sharpening a cutter by use of power of an electric motor and sharpening the cutter easily, cleanly, safely, and satisfactorily by devising structures of a cutter insertion port in which the cutter is inserted when sharpening the cutter and a wheel guard arranged in an innermost part of the cutter insertion port. SOLUTION: Since the wheel guard 92 is curved upward and an upper face of a grinding stone 4 is positioned to such extent that it is exposed slightly more upward than an opening 96 of the wheel guard 92, the cutter can be smoothly inserted, and the cutter can be brought into contact with the grinding stone 4 in a condition in which it is supported on a fringe of an upper face of the opening 96 to allow a user to perform cutter sharpening work safely in a stable condition without requiring large force.
